We now have a new & improved payment portal! If you were previously signed up on our credit/debit card portal you will need to re register and re enter your card payment info to set back up on auto pay.
If you were previously set up on automatic bank draft no action is required. We do encourage you to register on the portal to see our new features and to be able to view your bill.

Please be aware of online 3rd party bill payment websites (such as doxo.com) that show up in searches or other advertising. These companies may offer "convenience" by allowing you to pay your water bill through their website. To pay your bill online safely and securely using our authorized payment processor, use one of the links above.

IMPORTANT!  We will NEVER request or accept payment at the service address.  Our meter techs will never accept payment from customers when out in the field. 

 

Our new online portal payment is now live! When you select the "Pay or View Your Bill Now" button on this page, it will take you to the log in screen.  You will need your account number and your CID number located in the upper right corner of your bill. An email will be sent to you to activate your account, but then you are good to go!  There will be a convenience fee charged for payments by credit or debit card. There is no set-up fee or charge associated with automatic bank draft. Payments set up on AutoPay will process on the 25th of the month. The same registration can also be used to be set up for paperless billing.

To Set Up Credit/Debit Card or Bank Draft AutoPay: After you register on the portal you will need to go to the my profile drop down menu located at the top of the screen and select payment methods. Add new credit/debit card or add new bank. Enter your card or bank information and save. Make sure to select auto pay after saving payment method ans you are all set to go! AutoPay payments are processed on the 25th of the month.

Payment By Mail:  If paying by check or money order through the mail, please be sure to include your account number. To avoid late fees, please mail your payment at least five-seven business days before the due date specified on your bill.  All payments and other correspondence should be mailed to:  PO Box 4009, Emerald Isle, NC 28594-4009.

 Payment Drop-off Location:  Our office is located at 7412 Emerald Dr., Emerald Isle, NC 28594, just behind the EI Police Dept. and under the BBWC water tower.  We are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.  When making a payment in person, payments can be made using cash, check, or money order.  A night deposit drop box is available for after hours payments.

Payment Through Financial Institution Online Bill Pay:  Many financial institutions such as major banks offer their customers the ability to pay their bills via an online bill payment service (through your bank's website). Normally, these services debit the customer's checking or savings account to pay the bill. Depending on the financial institution, they may or may not charge a fee for the service. Payments may take up to seven business days to post to the customer's account. Please consult with your bank for more information.
